About Jenn

Hi, I'm Jenn.

I'm Jennifer Marshall, though most people call me Jenn. I offer a supportive space where people can slow down, reflect, and begin moving toward meaningful change. I believe resilience can grow through every season of life, and therapy can provide both a place of safety and a path forward.

I work with adults ages 18 and above who may be feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, navigating significant life transitions, or struggling with patterns of perfectionism and self-pressure. Many of my clients identify as highly sensitive or deeply reflective people who care deeply about doing things well but can sometimes feel stuck, exhausted, or unsure of their next step.

I also support individuals navigating grief, loss, and the emotional impact of medical challenges. With many years of experience as a social worker in healthcare settings, I understand how illness, caregiving responsibilities, and complex medical systems can affect emotional well-being.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. I draw from evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I practice from a person-centered, strengths-based perspective and am a proud affirming ally to 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals and clients of diverse identities and experiences.

Common questions

What to expect

Questions about getting started, what sessions are like, insurance, and more.

How do I know if therapy is right for me? +
Anyone can benefit from therapy — you don't need to be in crisis to reach out. If you're curious, sending me a message is a great low-stakes first step with no pressure or commitment.
What happens after I send a message? +
I'll follow up within 24 hours via your preferred contact method to introduce myself and answer any questions before you decide whether to book.
What happens in the first session? +

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin building a comfortable, supportive working relationship. The appointment typically lasts 60–90 minutes. We'll complete intake paperwork that covers things like contact information, consent forms, and background history. We'll also spend time talking through your experiences, current concerns, relationships, health history, and other areas of life that may help me better understand you as a whole person.

Most importantly, I want to hear about your goals, needs, and preferences for therapy. We'll discuss what's bringing you in, what you hope to gain from counseling, and what feels important for you moving forward. You're welcome to ask questions at any point so we can create an approach that feels supportive and collaborative.

Do you accept insurance? +
I am contracted with Integrated Therapy Solutions of Oklahoma who provides administrative support for insurance claims and billing. ITS accepts most major insurances including BCBS, HealthChoice, United Healthcare, SoonerCare, and traditional Medicare.
Do you offer telehealth? +

Yes. I offer telehealth sessions for clients who prefer to meet virtually. Telehealth appointments are held through Google Meet, and you'll receive a secure link before your session.

To comply with licensing requirements, clients must be physically located in the state of Oklahoma at the time of the appointment, even if traveling or temporarily away from home. Please make sure you are in a private, comfortable space with a reliable internet connection for your session.

What is your cancellation policy? +

Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment. You may notify me by phone call, text message, or email.

Clients who do not attend a scheduled appointment without notice will be charged a $60 no-show fee. Please note that insurance does not cover missed appointment fees, and payment is the client's responsibility.

Consistently missing scheduled appointments or not engaging in planned services may result in a review of the treatment plan to determine whether continued treatment or referral/discharge is appropriate.
